To test EvA quickly
and easily:

Simply install EvA on a PC with
:

Windows XP or 2000 Professional

and Outlook XP or Outlook 2000 (without SR1 or later) with CDO
library (optional in the Outlook setup)
(do not use Outlook 2003)

Use the Exchange Administrator
account / mailbox / Outlook profile to run the EvA Service, Access the
Active Directory / Exchange Server, ...
Before installing
EvA 2000 on a server:

You may have to install some
Microsoft libraries EvA 2000 uses to access Exchange, the Active Directory
and the databases: check the
requirements

If you have Outlook XP or 2000 SR1 or
later on the EvA 2000 Server, programmatic access to Outlook is
restricted: you'll have to install and set Up the Outlook Security
Settings Folder.

Security Update
Last but Not Least, before sending eMails to a Distribution List, always
restrict users allowed to use it. If you don't do that, any contact in the
list may REply to all your Distribution List, for instance. A nightmare ...
