EvA requires some Microsoft libraries or programs to be present on your EvA server or EvA Clients. We advise you to install the latest version or service pack of those products.
Collaboration Data Object library
This library is installed either with Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange Administrator.
Depending on the Outlook version you install, CDO component is installed by default or not.
CDO is not installed with Microsoft Exchange Administrator 5.5. You must apply the Exchange Service Pack 1 or later for the library to be installed.
Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or later

ADSI 2.5
ADSI is already installed with Windows 2000, XP & 2003. You should not install it under this OS.
You need to install the library under Windows 9x or Windows NT.

MDAC 2.8

Active Directory Client
According to Technet article Q275917: ADSI 2.5 and MDAC 2.x Compatibility issues, in some cases you need to install the Directory Services Client to ensure a proper directory access.
If EvA experiences problems to access MS Exchange director, you will need to install it.
Active Directory Client for Windows 95 and Windows 98 package is included on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM in the Clients\Win9x\Dsclient.exe file.
